**DREAM AND DATE SET**
After seeing Landie “Mandown” Ngxeke, 16-1 with 8 KOs, hard at work at the Hot Box Gym, posting several images, clips, and training footage, South African fight fans were wondering when his date with destiny would take place. After defecting from East London to sign with manager Colin Nathan, director of NO DOUBT Management, it was announced that he received the letter of order from the IBF to contest for the vacant World Bantamweight championship against Mexico’s Jose Salas Reyes, 16-0 with 10 KOs, after Junto Nakatani vacated the title to move up to the 122 lb division. Right off the bat, Ngxeke accepted the order, and now the date has been signed and sealed.
“Yeah, we have known about the date for a while; that’s why we have been hard at work preparing. There was a bit of back and forth with the agreement, but now I have a deal for Landie, and he is extremely happy with the terms. I also want to thank Larry Wainstein of Boxing 5 for all his support,” said Nathan.
December 13th in Mexico City has been confirmed, although BXSTRS has stated that the venue could shift to another province in Mexico, but the date is confirmed, said CEO Juan Carlos Torres of BXSTRS. Ngxeke couldn’t hide his excitement: “I woke up this morning and saw the post, and I was like, 'Yeah, it’s happening.' On the 13th, the IBF world title belt must be wrapped around my waist; I’m ready.”
This is another exciting moment for South Africa, as we have seen several legitimate world title fights this year featuring South African boxers, and we could see Ngxeke being crowned champion of the world on the 13th of December.
Mexico is a happy hunting ground for Nathan, as he has scored major upset wins with Hekkie Budler and Sivenathi Nontshinga and is looking to extend his unbeaten winning streak.
“Mandown” is ready to announce himself to the world.

**BUSY TIME FOR WAINSTEIN AND NATHAN**
“It doesn’t stop,” said Larry Wainstein, the CEO of Boxing 5 Promotions. Next Saturday sees Wainstein co-promoting in Uppington of all places. Boxing 5 and Fight Art Promotion will be holding the first-ever professional boxing event at the Desert Palace Casino. “I am very interested to see what the turnout will be. There are some exciting fights lined up, and you just never know what the response will be.”
The last two weeks have proven to be exciting for Boxing 5, as their partner in Colin Nathan’s NO DOUBT Management announced that Nathan’s latest signing, Landie “Mandown” Ngxeke, will be fighting for the IBF World Bantamweight title against Mexico’s Jose Salas Reyes.
Wainstein, naturally excited, said, “I leave all that up to Colin. He handles the boxing side along with our fighters.”
Wainstein and Nathan were in final discussions about Wainstein’s next Boxing 5 event after this coming weekend, scheduled for November 15th.
“All I can say is our last event is going to be explosive, with some exceptional and world-class talent in our lineup,” said Wainstein.
Boxing 5 is expected to make the announcement this coming week.
Nathan has been locked in about his work since getting back from his holiday last month in Japan. “There have been a lot of shifts and changes,” he said.
With a potential massive announcement coming up featuring one of their fighters, Nathan and Wainstein were on a call after midnight this morning discussing this announcement.
“Business doesn’t sleep,” said the hard-working Nathan.
