We are playing Pickleball at Glenhazel Tennis Club this Sunday 20th April 2024 3pm-5pm if you would like to come try it out. There is no charge to play this week as we are still fine tuning our setup of propper Pickleball. Please confirm if you can join us on WhatsApp or via SMS on 082 733 6253 so that we may add you to our guest list for Sunday for security purposes.
Feedback from last Sunday was that we had 8 players. We played singles and doubles. We discovered that tennis shoes work best! We all enjoyed it and we had no problem with all skill levels playing together making it fun, social and inclusive for everyone. We also discovered that the "Pickleball Kitchen Line" is very important so that the ball cannot be smashed over the net (too easy to win the point).
Looking forward to seeing you there.

The 2023 annual club champs were completed this past Sunday with some high quality tennis played by all in tough hot conditions.
In the singles final, Goran Dragosavac overcame his doubles partner and number 1 seed, Gillon Dreyer, in a nail-biting contest 2-6, 6-4 and 6-3. Gillon has been extremely difficult to beat in the past couple years and Goran finally prevailed against his mate.
The doubles final saw 2 time defending champions and number 1 seeds, Clive Sandwick and Rob Serebro winning a hard fought contest against David Klevansky and Pat Valenti 7(โน)-6 and 6-2. The duo went undefeated once again and played some really consistent tennis throughout putting all the teams to the sword.
The singles plate final for 3rd place saw Jonty Alexander defeat Gary Sachs 2-6, 6-3 and 6-4
With 2023 now coming to a close, we wish everyone well over the festive season and all the best for 2024.
