Guitar of The Week🎸✅😍 | Washburn Mavrick Series

Sometimes life gets busy and the things we love have to be put to the side for some time, and the effects of that can make it difficult to pick them back up.

One of the best parts of this job is getting to bring an instrument back to it’s former glory, and to see the shine that brings to customers eyes
Working through this Maverick Series Washburn’s premium setup was an exhaustive effort, but very much worth it

🎸 Just in time for the next gig!

Local bassist Tebogo Sedumedi, aka Aus Tebza, stopped by before flying out for shows. We got her bass sorted, and she even squeezed in a quick jam before heading off! 🔥

Always a pleasure, Aus Tebza! ❤️

Hard work deserves a good meal. 🥩Work hard, play hard. 🔥

Black on black. No distractions. 🎸🖤

This Martin X Series came through the workshop for a proper setup by Justin, bringing everything back into balance and getting this beauty playing the way it should.

The only thing breaking the blackout? Those machine heads. ⚙️

Clean. Stealthy. Properly dialled in.

Passion Done Professionally.

💧 One spill can turn into a serious problem.

This Pioneer Opus-Quad came into the workshop after suffering liquid damage, and Jones takes us through what happened and how the liquid affected the unit. 🎛️🔧

Our Electronics Team gets to work diagnosing the damage and bringing this piece of DJ gear back to life.

Another day, another repair behind the scenes at JD Kustom. 👀

🎸 This one needed a little TLC.

This guitar came into the workshop with a hole that needed filling and some attention to get it back where it belongs. 🔧

A little repair, a little care, and another instrument on its way back to doing what it does best. 🎶

Passion Done Professionally.

Nobody tells you about the hazards of being a guitar tech. 😂🎸

One minute you’re doing a setup, the next you’re surrounded by enough chemicals to run a small laboratory.

Occupational hazards. 😭
