* Certified Kathak courses from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai
* Exams in April/May yearly
* Training to understand taal, laya & the finer nuances of each composition
* Structured training in footwork, chakkars, abhinaya & layakari
* Strong focus on theory
* Understanding not only how to dance but why each movement is performed
* Performance opportunities to build stage confidence & practical experience

This workshop is designed to help you enjoy the process of learning Tarana while building clarity, confidence and comfort in your movement. We will take the choreography step by step, understand how it fits in the taal, and work at a pace that feels accessible and encouraging.

If you have some Kathak experience and want to explore choreography in a guided and supportive space, this is for you!

This workshop focuses on expression, musicality and ease in movement. You will explore facial expressions, develop graceful body movements, and learn how to connect with the lyrics in a clear and enjoyable way.
