Heritage Day in South Africa looks a little different for everyone.

This is the "Rautenbach Trio" at Tikulanilani Lodge in Kalabo, Zambia, near the Liuwa Plains, sometime in the early 2000s.

Long before we started BunduTec, travel, camping and the African outdoors were already a big part of our lives.

Looking back at photos like this, it’s probably not too surprising that we eventually ended up building a business around getting people out there and exploring it for themselves.

Today we celebrate where we come from, the experiences that shaped us, and all the different stories that make up our South African heritage.
