Khonology

Khonologists Mpumelelo Nkosi and Siboniso Makhaye, delivered a guest lecture on opportunities associated to Industrial Engineering students together with academic staff from Wits University.

Industrial Engineers sit at the intersection of people, processes and technology, designing and improving systems that create value across virtually every sector of the economy (from manufacturing and mining to logistics, healthcare, financial services, consulting and the public sector).

Throughout the year, Wits students have developed a strong foundation in systems thinking, lean thinking, business process re-engineering, process optimisation, digital product fundamentals and human-centred design.
In the coming weeks, they explored digital twins and their application in engineering and operational environments.

Khonology partnered with Boundless Tech to share insights and exposure to the young people of Soweto on Mandela Day.

The enagement led by Zakes Manyoni connected the Youth on robotics, AI, software development and data, giving them education on entrepreneurial and career opportunities through technology.
