The CCO’s XV come up short against an interestingly ‘Mixed’ SERFC side. (Naughty naughty)

With glimpses of brilliance, freshers and clubmen alike put their hearts on the line against a well-drilled Sheffield Engineers 1st XV.

We go again in a fortnight.

Particular congratulations are in order for Archie Walton , who claims Man Of The Match on his debut, putting in a stellar performance at 6, loosehead and ho**er throughout the game. And, conversely, pints are required for Saturday’s DOTD, Robin Davey , for punching the post in anger… during a preseason friendly.

The CCO’s XV travel up to Sheffield for our inaugural game of the 26/27 season!

Named in honour of our newly rebranded Chief Chat Officer (formally Junior Social Media Sec) has “chosen” the team with the greatest chat ever to grace the sport of rugby to take on Sheffield Engineers.

You do really begin to question his ability to choose players based on chat..when Fresher Ben is starting.

Speaking of Ellen, he captains the side for the first time with Captain Edan crippled and VC TDL unavailable. Finally a good use for his absolute yap.

With 5 debuts in the starting 15, and enough players to fill Walkabout (RIP), the boys look to start the season well with a dub, before their fierce match against B**r RFC at the joint social in the evening.

Good luck to all those representing the badge for the first time!!

After a long summer break, the Blues are back in action!

We kick the season off with a squad warm-up game this weekend. With many freshers getting their 1st opportunity to play for the badge, it’s really looking like it’s gonna be a cracking game!

Then its off to Warwick for the men in blue, for our first 1st XV match of the year, before our annual Doctors Game on the 24th.

Finally, we end the month on a high. Halloween. Brum Medics. After squeeky-bum-time heartbreak last season, the boys are ready to right their wrongs and begin our charge to NAMS glory.

It. All. Starts. Here.
