This past weekend, Taylor and Jaydon proudly represented South Africa at the African Aquatics Zone IV Open Water Championships in Mauritius.
Both athletes delivered outstanding performances in the open water, demonstrating determination, resilience, and the spirit of excellence that we value at Aqua Athlete. We are incredibly proud of the way they competed and represented not only their country but also the Aqua Athletes family on the international stage.
Well done on your fantastic swims and achievements. We look forward to seeing what comes next in your swimming journey!

A huge week for Eva at the Mauritian Winter Championships! πββοΈπ
Eva delivered an outstanding performance in the 15β16 age group:
π₯ Gold β 50 Breast, 100 Breast, 200 IM, 200 Free, 800 Free
π₯ Silver β 200 IM Final, 100 Free
π₯ Bronze β 50 Back, 200 Free Final
And to make it even more special, she achieved a new PB in the 200 Free!π₯

LEVEL 2 REGIONALS ππ
What an incredible weekend for our Aqua Athlete swimmers! We had so many swimmers racing their hearts out, loads of finalists, and plenty of medal winners bringing home hardware. Most importantly, every single swimmer showed determination, team spirit, and pride in wearing our colours.

What an incredible championship for our Level 3 swimmers! π₯
Our combined team effort secured an amazing 10th place overall in a fiercely contested competition β a result we are extremely proud of! π
Between our swimmers, we brought home a phenomenal 13 medals, countless PBs, and outstanding performances across the board.
A special shoutout to π Luca Kneubuhler π for achieving his SANJ qualifying times in both the 100m Backstroke and 200m Backstroke β an incredible achievement!
We are so proud of every swimmer. Your dedication, discipline, and hard work continue to shine.

Last week, our Aqua Athlete team competed in the South African Junior National Championships.
What a successful meet it was!

What an amazing time at SA YOUTH Nationals in Gqeberha, Port Elizabeth.
Our athletes had outstanding performances. With only 8 athletes, Aqua Athlete still managed to place 5th overall, and our womenβs team placing 4th in the womenβs team scores.
Check out some highlights of the event:
- Leigh Mcmorran securing three first place finishes on her respective events: 800 Free, 100 Fly, 200 Fly π₯
- Caelyn White securing a third place finish after going into finals seeded 6th. Caelyn put up a serious fight!
- Kaylin de Almeida securing a second place finish in her 200IM
Our athletes had many PBs, som outstanding races and they brought such a good energy to this gala. Well done to all our athletes. You inspire us every single day!

What a weekend at Open Water Nationals! ππββοΈπββοΈ
Weβre so proud of the team that represented Aqua Athlete and CGA: Kirsty Hyslop, Madisyn Elliott, Clayton Kassebaum, Taylor Kassebaum, Taylia Smith, along with Head Coach Adrian Goate.
A huge congratulations to Talia Smith for an outstanding 2nd place finish in the 13β14 girls 3K race π₯ and to Taylor Casserbaum for earning 3rd place in the 14β16 girls 5K race π₯! Competing at that level takes grit, focus, and serious determination β and they delivered.
Weβre proud of the hard work, toughness, and team spirit shown all weekend. Way to represent Aqua Athlete!
