Thank you to everyone that helped me through a very eventful year. In no particular order these guys stepped and ensured I get going so I could do what counts.
We achieved 2 titles and possibly 3 more to go this year. Made another SA Champion. We were nominated for project of the year world wide and out of 300 got a 4th place in New York accepted by Luke Lamprecht.
We have fed 150 plus people for 30 months every Wednesday. 15000 meals have been served. We have gotten kids into schools. Arranged books and school shoes. Together with Natasha Constatiniou and Marie Ellis supported by her husband and my favourite friend Jeff Ellis.
We created jobs in the inner city by giving T Shirt machines to Jennifer Matibi and Dino Ackerman who expose their products at this Giant. We built rings and cages and learned from expensive mistakes when we helped 2 boys who build those items and get off drugs and have a life. Those boys also repaired and fixed the centre with the help of Keller Wiiliams South's, Piero Antigua. They painted all the fencing and supplied lights for my gym.
George from Comaro Paint donated a pool table and foose ball to the Fight with Insight kids. Jenny from Linmeyer Montessori took in 7 boys from out project who were out of school and started a support class for them. We cleaned the streets if Rosettenville and people stopped, gave us food money and tools to carry on doing the good work. We opened the first branch of Fight with Insight at Southern Suburbs where the great project started.
Since the beginning of the year people have helped me like Leon Abrahamse who fixed my car and Jerry Thomas who also fixed my car and bought me an engine twice. Michael du Plessis who manufactured the mobile boxing trailer creating an Avenue to train kids at school. Carla van der Walt offered my first chance to do that this year at Heron Academy.
When my car eventually gave up the ghost Trevor Jordaan said Anton you cant walk everywhere. Here take my 325TDS BMW. Then Lionel Hunter supplied me with new shocks and anything I needed to keep the BMW in shape.
Maureen Durandt has helped me loads and offered a place to stay when life was at its darkest. Did my book keeping till I can get back on my feet.
Jethro Finch and Sarah from Wild Pear Guest for giving me a steal of a place with the best view of the South from my palace in the sky.
Scott McNeilage sponsored my S9 phone repair. Deon Coetzee has been giving me tyres for my car for years now.
Jethro at Williams Hunt often repaired my car via Scott Guignett's help.
Luke and Sheri for ring patient qith my ar issues and for creating Fight with Insight. Cha ginger lives. Nurturing the box to exit goos men into the world. And ladies.
Lynne Ricardo for being my true north and helping me find direction again. Forever and Always my lady.
Karen Brown the best mom for my kids..carrying them when I couldnt and making sure Aidan was always cared for. All the guys who fought for Aidan, Neill Knott, Gerald Olivier, Mike Batten, Richard van der Walt, Frank da Costa, Stephen Hodge, Jeff Ellis, Cassius Baloyi, Brian Mitchell and anyone I left out. The support for Aidan has always been a great southern thing. Love you all.
Mrs Farah for also being there when i needed a place and food and showing me Lebanese hospitality as they all have. Grant Homan for helping with transport and donating to Walking Tall with Pride.
