To The Men on the Other Side of #MeToo
As I watched my social media feeds fill up over the past two days, with hundreds of hashtags from women sharing their firsthand experience of sexual harassment or assault, I began to grieve. I grieved for the sheer volume of the revelations, realizing they will still only barely scratch the s...

Our beloved friend and founder Louise Hay transitioned this morning, August 30, 2017, of natural causes at age 90. She passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
Louise was an incredible visionary and advocate. Everyone who had the privilege to meet her, either in person, or through her words, felt her passion for serving others.
“Meeting Louise changed the direction of my life,” said Reid Tracy, President and CEO of Hay House, Inc. “Her passion for serving others translated into everything she did. Simply by working alongside her, an analytical accountant like me transformed into someone who became aware of the power of affirmations and self-love. Being able to learn from her has been one of my life’s greatest blessings. The beauty of Louise was that you didn’t have to work alongside her to learn from her, you felt like you were there with her, with every word you read or heard.”
Hay House will carry on Louise’s legacy and continue to publish products and online learning courses that align with her message of self-improvement and self-love.
Louise Hay’s estate, as well as all future royalties, will be donated to The Hay Foundation, a non-profit organization established by Louise that financially supports diverse organizations which supply food, shelter, counseling, hospice care and funds to those in need.
We invite you to share your Louise stories with us in the comments below. Together, we honor her through our memories and the continuing of her unforgettable legacy.
We love you, LuLu.
In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole, and complete. – Louise L. Hay

Every school involved in a race debacle of late has touted an ‘anti-racism agenda’ to fix the issue. Here’s the thing. An anti-racism agenda is a lowly target at this late stage – especially at school level. It simply means that those with power, who run the system, ‘agree to enforce a programme not to prejudice those that are different that they’ve chosen to let through the door – usually after the fact. Its ridiculous.
As a school – emphasis on school – the goal should be nothing less = nothing less than a fully inclusive, COMMONLY created school culture. A culture that actively affirms each child. Imagine that! A culture shaped by all who legitimately participate in it now. A culture where the child doesn’t have to give up their identity to be part of yours. A culture that is a full and real embrace of who the child is...
This is not simply an enforcing of basic laws against prejudice, not a superficial exercise in diversity training for those at risk of expressing their innate prejudice, whilst educating young minds. But a change in the quality and substance of the black child’s experience of their identity in school life– so that they no longer are made to feel (overtly and subtly) ‘other,’ No, the child can not and should not simply assimilate themselves into the existing predominant culture. And no, it is not enough to ensure that the people already in that culture don’t discriminate against him/her. And it is certainly not enough to simply ‘make allowances’for differences. The child is not a guest by invitation in your house. S/he is the school and should be part of its fabric. The experience of every child should not be one of being tolerated - but of being an active participant in the shaping of both their own and the collective identity of the institution.
Anything less is a marginalizing, patronising concession and parents – who must themselves be palpably familiar with the scarring experience of subtle alienation – should not settle for the veneer of an anti-racism agenda but reach for an inclusive school culture – one in which your child unequivocally and passionately, feels secure that they belong. It surely is not too much to ask of a school of all places.

Some nice topline awareness stuff... fibromyalgia is as life-draining as it is debilitating -made more so by the fact that it is so misunderstood. Perhaps the best way to make the day of someone who has it - is to learn more about it. Nb. Just so you know in advance - one of the ways to destroy them is to say - 'so, its just pain? Its not like damaging or fatal or anything? Dismissing someone's pain is the baddest damage.

Initially complex to grasp but deeply, deeply insightful - much like the best and worst of mother-daughter relationships. Important not just for your healing but even more important - if you in the midst of bringing up your own children.
The Rupture of the Mother Line and the Cost of Becoming Real

Hi there. We've created a complimentary set of affirmation cards for kids. Pick one or two that you feel they will enjoy or better still, let them pick a few. I use affirmations in the Sun Magic Mindfulness Circle (5-11yr olds) with Ulaysha Sukhu and it works brilliantly. They start out rather softly but visibly grow in self-belief (and loudness), Each child is unique and they can feel for themselves what resonates and what ‘feels stuck.’ If they do feel stuck - let it go. They’ll find their way back to it. Designed for 4-11 year olds. Printable A4. Print on card or laminate for best results. Please inform us of any issues in printing. Do share if useful. NB: Next Sun Circle is Drumming - Saturday, 29th Alchemy Esoteric Shoppe and Wellness Centre.
