🏅 Three Days. Four Sports. One Unforgettable Celebration of Inclusion.

Special Olympics Togo's National Games 2026 brought together athletes, families, partners, and supporters for three inspiring days of competition, courage, and achievement.

📅 September 3: Athletes began their Games journey with health screenings and medical consultations, ensuring they were ready to compete at their best.

🏸 September 4: Precision and skill took center stage as athletes competed in Badminton and Boccia at CETEF.

🚴🏾‍♀️🏃🏾 September 5: The excitement reached its peak at the Stade Omnisports de Lomé, where Athletics and Cycling showcased incredible determination, speed, and sportsmanship in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

We were honored by the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Sports, Board Members, valued partners including Dogta Lafiè, LACAF, and Inclusion Oriented, as well as families and supporters whose energy made these Games truly special.

Thank you to every athlete, coach, volunteer, partner, and fan who helped make the 2026 National Games a success. The road to even greater achievements continues as we look ahead to 2027!

🌟 What an incredible celebration of talent and spirit at the Special Olympics Côte d'Ivoire National Games! 🎉 Held across four fantastic venues in Yamoussoukro, including the buzzing Scientific High School and the scenic President Golf Club, the event brought together 425 athletes, 78 dedicated coaches, and 50 enthusiastic volunteers! 🌊🏌️‍♂️

The atmosphere was electric, fueled by the support of families and dignitaries, creating a vibrant tapestry of joy and unity. 🥳💪 Special shoutout to the Program team for their hard work in making this event a resounding success!

Special Olympics is conducting the 2026 Fitness through Sport survey and wants to hear from you!

We are inviting athletes, family members and caregivers, coaches, and Program staff to share their experiences with fitness, health, and sport across Special Olympics.

Your feedback will help us understand what's working well, where challenges exist, and what resources, training, and support are needed to help athletes be healthy, fit, and perform their best in sport.
