Special Olympics Africa is proud to announce the Global Week of Inclusion, 20–26 July 2026, a worldwide call to action to celebrate, elevate, and urgently champion the inclusion of athletes with intellectual disabilities in every community.

Through the uniting power of sports, our athletes build confidence, realize their potential, and show how we can play and lead together. Every year in July, people around the world unite to show that inclusion is not just a value, it is a necessity.

Global Week of Inclusion is a prime activation moment where the world stands together to elevate this impact. July 2026 is extra special as it also marks 58 years of Special Olympics using sports as a catalyst for systemic change.
