Let’s talk about holiday eating.
We lead stressful , busy lives and holidays are meant to be the opposite of that, so it’s not a time to overthink and worry. That doesn’t mean all your food should be unhealthy. Try to cook some of your own meals and make healthy choices in restaurants when possible. If you have the burger, don’t have the fries and remove half of the roll, don’t add the butter sauce to the prawns and opt for veggies as a side BUT none of it should be stress inducing. The main idea is to be present with your family and to decompress.
If possible, try to do some physical activity, like walking and low intensity workouts which you can do anywhere. There are quite a few on my page.
If your holiday is less than a week, the damage you do will be limited and you can get back on track as soon as you get home with healthy eating and workouts.
If it’s longer than a week, try to be more mindful, but don’t over think it.
Remember I always teach balance.
