'Dragon Blood Tree' 🤯 One of the most unique and fascinating trees in the world.

It is located in a hideout of the world: the island of Socotra, a tiny archipelago in the Indian Ocean belonging to Yemen and which broke off from Africa 10 million years ago. They live for an average of 600 years, within the remains of the prehistoric 'Dragonsblood' forest in granite mountains and limestone plateaus. Its sap is red - hence its name. Is an endangered specie.

This strange tree is also found in the Canary Islands, the Dracaena cinnabari species is mainly found in Socotra, while that of the Canaries is Dracaena draco.
