What. A. Day. 🚴‍♀️💨

The 2025 OMW Double Century threw everything at us from the start - a sick ride captain, an early mechanical, and a full bike swap before we’d even settled in. Once we regrouped, we got moving and made the most of a brutally tough day out.

With heat, headwinds, and a reduced team on the road, we pushed all the way to the finish in 6:52:33, taking 10 minutes off last year’s time in far tougher conditions. Not the result we hoped for, but a massive effort from everyone. 🩵

We are incredibly proud of our ladies for the commitment, the training, and the teamwork that got us to this start line and across that finish.

To our support team - Alexa, Kelly, Eryn & Tessa, thank you for running the feed zones like absolute pros. 🚐
You kept us calm, organised, fuelled, cooled, and moving. We couldn’t have asked for better hands on the ground.

Meet Michela aka or Mics, our fearless Cruise Director 🚴‍♀️ As the spark behind the Femmes, she’s the glue, the grit, and the endless good energy that keeps this turquoise train moving.

A born-and-bred Joburg girl with a big Italian-South African heart, she somehow balances being a mom, running two physiotherapy practices, and still finding time for every ride, event, and adventure (because her FOMO is very real) 😅

Known for her love of great food, good wine, and all things beautiful, Michela’s mantra says it best: Don’t make any decisions now. Take a gel and wait 30 minutes.

Introducing Courtney Tully

Meet Courtney aka Tinks 🧚🏻‍♀️ our Mountain Goatress with a knack for climbing hills and convincing the group to celebrate with shots afterwards 🍋🔥

Riding her trusty Tequila the Trek, she brings big energy, humour, and heart to every ride. As a marketing manager and horse rider, she somehow balances saddle time on two wheels and four legs, and will only run when it’s fun and involves friends 😅

She’s been cycling since 2021, and this will be her third Double Century with the Femmes. Her mantra? You only live once, so have a damn good time doing it. And honestly, she lives it.

Meet Dianne aka Di, our calm, collected powerhouse 💪

A CX leader in the corporate world, she’s as solid and steady off the bike as she is on it. Having grown up by the ocean, she’s all about adventure, movement, and making every moment count 🌊 After years abroad (including crossing the Atlantic on superyachts - yes, really 🛥️), she’s taken on the Double Century twice, with number three now loading.

When she’s not on her bike, you’ll find her surrounded by sunshine, Labradors, and laughter, her favourite things in life. Her mantra? Find your strength. And trust us, she does - every single ride ✨
