So incredibly proud of my athletes who conquered the IRONMAN South Africa 70.3 Durban.
You all showed true grit, determination, and heart out there! I am beyond proud to have been a part of your journey.

Huge shoutout to Kabelo Sekete and Tinie Maree for completing their first-ever Ironman 70.3.

Kabelo — what a race! From start to finish he stayed calm, focused, and completely in control. He nailed the bike leg with smart pacing and perfect use of cadence, setting himself up for a strong, steady run.

Marthinus - You conquered the swim, gave it everything on the bike, managed the run like a pro, and crossed that finish line with a smile. 😄
What makes this even more impressive? You did it with half your training done on a ship, limited to strength work and treadmill runs — and still showed up, delivered, and finished strong. That’s grit. That’s heart.
