🌍 FIM AFRICA TEAM ANNOUNCED FOR BRAZIL! 🇧🇷🏁

The team is set! FIM Africa has announced the riders who will represent the continent at the 2026 FIM Intercontinental Games in Goiânia, Brazil, from 10 to 13 December.

🇿🇦 🇪🇬 🇦🇴 🇺🇬 🇿🇲 Riders from five African nations will compete across SSP300, Supersport and MX2, with motocross making its FIM Intercontinental Games debut in an MX2 format.

But that's not all... 👀

27 YEARS OF AFRICAN MOTOCROSS HISTORY 🏁

From the first Motocross of African Nations in Zimbabwe in 1999 to the return of the championship to Namibia in 2026, the MXoAN has built a proud history across the African continent.

Now, 27 years on, around 180 riders from across Africa are expected at Gallina Motocross Park from 28 to 30 August.

WHAT TO EXPECT | BE READY FOR THE DAY

You’re coming to a motocross track, not a stadium, so a little preparation will make your day at Gallina much more comfortable.

MAKE YOURSELF COMFORTABLE
✔ Bring camping chairs or something comfortable to sit on. You’ll be spending a full day at the track
✔ You’re welcome to bring a gazebo for shade, but space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis, so arrive early if you’re hoping to set one up
✔ Please be considerate when choosing your spot and don’t block walkways, access routes or other spectators’ views

DRESS FOR GALLINA
✔ Wear comfortable, closed walking shoes. Expect sand, dust, uneven ground and plenty of walking
✔ Bring sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. You’ll be outdoors for most of the day and shade cannot be guaranteed
✔ Early mornings can be chilly, so bring a jacket or warm layer. As the day heats up, you can lose the layers
✔ Motocross means dust, so dress accordingly. This probably isn’t the day for your favourite white outfit

PLAN FOR A FULL DAY
✔ Racing starts early and continues throughout the day, so come prepared to settle in for the full day
✔ Food vendors and bar facilities will be available throughout the weekend
✔ Remember that no drinks may be brought into the venue, although you may bring an empty cooler box
✔ Keep your essentials with you and look after your personal belongings throughout the day

CHAIR. SHADE. SUNSCREEN. JACKET. COMFORTABLE SHOES.

Get those right and you’re ready for a full day of racing at Gallina.
