Canicross South Africa

05/10/2026

This is what we call elite post run hospitality. 😂🐾🍖

Canicross isn’t just about a lekker 5km run. It’s about the friends you’ll make, the places you’ll explore, the experiences you’ll share and the fitter, happier lifestyle that comes with it. ❤️

It’s good coffees, lekker brekkies, a sneaky craft b**r or two if you’re down for that 🍻, and of course… the post run banter with new friends. 😂

Because really, the running is just one aspect of canicross.

Fitter humans. Happier dogs. Epic adventures.

HOW EXCITING! 🥳

The October edition of We Love Pets SA is out, and we are so excited to see a beautiful article all about the sport we all love so much… Canicross!

A really big thank you to our wonderful Canicross South Africa - Cape Winelands Club for taking the initiative, putting this article together and getting our sport out there for even more people to discover. ❤️

It makes us so happy seeing canicross growing, getting noticed and reaching more dog lovers across South Africa. There is just something so special about sharing the trails with your dog, getting outside, getting fit and having the best adventures together.

Thank you Cape Winelands for helping to spread the canicross love! 🥰🐾

This is for all you KZN canicrossers, this weekend in collaboration with the Kloof and Highway SPCA , the Canicross South Africa - KZN Upper Highway Club will be hosting a canicross fundraiser social run and doing our little bit in helping support the amazing work the SPCA do. How many of you will we be seeing out there? 🐾

🐾❤️ Run. Walk. Make a Difference. ❤️🐾
This Saturday, we're not just getting outdoors with our dogs, we're coming together to help animals in need.
Every pawprint, every step, and every registration fee will help provide much-needed food for the animals cared for by the Kloof & Highway SPCA. For many of these animals, your support means a full tummy, comfort, and hope while they wait for their forever homes.
Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or simply an animal lover looking to make a difference, we'd love to have you join us. Bring your dog, bring your family, and most importantly, bring a friend. The more people who participate, the more support we can provide to animals who need it most.
Together, we can enjoy the outdoors, strengthen our community, and show that a small act of kindness can have a big impact.
🐕 Saturday, 3 October
📍 Kloof & Highway SPCA, 29 Village Road, Kloof
🏃 2.4km or 4.8km Social Run/Walk
💙 Entry Fee R50 (portion will be donated to animal food)

Canicross ANNDDD pizza?!? Like does it get any better than this 🍕

🐾🍕 THIS WEEK WE’RE DOING THINGS A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY! 🍕🐾

We’re kicking off the month with a Friday evening local run, followed by a social get-together, good company and PIZZA at Triggerfish! 🎉

🏃‍♀️ THE RUN
Our route is a relaxed 2.8 km — perfect for a Friday evening outing.

Think that’s not enough? 😜
Do it twice for 5 km for those who think they need to work a little harder for their pizza! 🍕💪

🔥 PLEASE REMEMBER:
Arrive 15 minutes before the run so you have enough time to properly warm up yourself AND your dog before we set off.

💧 Bring water for yourself and your dog — especially for afterwards when we head to Triggerfish.

👫 BRING A FRIEND — LET’S MAKE OUR CIRCLE BIGGER!

Running friends are more than welcome! Everyone who is running needs to RSVP, including friends and non-members.

💰 Non-members: R50

🍕 Not a runner? No problem!
Your non-running friends can simply meet us at Triggerfish afterwards for the social and pizza. No need to RSVP for the run.
