Sona Khanani Lubelwana joined at just 8 years old. Ten years later, we couldn’t be prouder of the dancer she has become and everything she has achieved along the way.

Following her 3rd National Cap and Protea Colours, representing South Africa at the 2025 UDO World Championships in Blackpool, Sona was awarded her 2nd Cum Laude White Blazer Award at Crawford College. 🇿🇦

Sona also ranked Top 3 nationally across solos, duos and trios at the 2025 National Championships, holds a Level 11 Hip Hop Dance accreditation with a distinction of over 90%, and has earned Full Colours for Dance at Crawford College.

While taking a break from National and Provincial competition this year, she continues to participate in Dance Sport through school and is now working towards her Level 12 accreditation.

From 8 years old to a three-time Protea dancer, it has been an absolute privilege to be part of Sona’s journey. We are so proud of you! ❤️🇿🇦
