Johannesburg Pride remains FREE for everyone. 🏳️‍🌈

This year, we’re introducing an optional VIP experience for those who would like a little more space, comfort and additional amenities on the day.

For R250, the VIP area includes:

✨ Own stage & lineup
✨ Ho**ah lounge
✨ Seating & shading
✨ Private WCs
✨ Private bar
✨ Dedicated entry point

VIP is completely optional. Your Pride experience does not depend on purchasing a VIP ticket, and general entrance to Johannesburg Pride remains FREE.

We’ve introduced this option in response to high demand from our community for a more private and comfortable space. It also helps us offset some of the significant costs involved in producing Johannesburg Pride and maintaining a free public event.

There is no pressure to purchase a VIP ticket — come celebrate with us in the general Pride space, as always. ❤️

No VIP tickets will be sold at the gate on the day.

For 37 years, Johannesburg Pride has been part of the fabric of this city, a movement built on visibility, resistance, celebration, community and belonging.

For our 2026 campaign, we took Pride into the streets of Johannesburg CBD to celebrate the people, individuality, energy and unapologetic spirit that make this city ours.

Johannesburg Pride returns to Sandton on 31 October 2026, bringing our community together on Katherine Street for another chapter in our story.

This is Johannesburg.

Our Campaign Call has officially closed.

We are absolutely blown away by the response from our community. Thank you to every single person who took the time to apply, share your story, and put yourself forward to be part of the next Pride of Africa campaign.

Your authenticity, courage and willingness to represent our community mean more than words can express.

Our team will now begin reviewing all applications. As much as we'd love to include everyone, we unfortunately have limited spaces available. Every application will be carefully considered, and shortlisted applicants will be contacted directly over the weekend.
