We’re looking for marshals and barcode scanners for our next Rietvlei parkrun on 15 August 2026.

Can you assist?

Our marshals help keep the course safe for our participants. Unfortunately marshals can’t claim a parkrun credit as well as a volunteering credit. All our marshal points are accessible by a car so if you are injured and can’t run or walk this is an ideal volunteering role for you.

Our barcode scanners scan your barcode and finish token at the end of the parkrun so that you get a time matching the finish token. If you normally finish the parkrun quickly this is an ideal role for you to get both a parkrun and a volunteer credit.
