Judo means the gentle way, its is a form of martial arts that began in Japan 1882 by Jigoro Kano. It has been a sport offered at wits for 27 years.

Judo has been at Wits for more than 27 years, coached by Coen van Tonder. The club has seen beginners become South African Champions and South African champions become Springbok Judoka. It is great if you want to achieve greatness within the sport, a good gateway into MMA or even just learn great self defense skills or just want to get fit. The club is a family and everyone is made to feel welcome in the club.
