💜🍇 BALLSY PIRATES

A massive thank you to the Hollard Daredevil Run crew for joining us at Pirates Time Trial last night and bringing the energy, the laughs and braveness! 💜

The Hollard Daredevil Run raises awareness and funds for men affected by testicular and prostate cancer, and we love seeing our running community get behind such an important cause. 💜

We hope we encouraged many of you to do their race on 23 October, you can find the 🔗 in our bio.

And to the brave (or just plain ballsy? 😂) Pirates who rocked up in their Speedos and ran for the cause… we salute you! 🫡🥜 It takes a special kind of confidence to run a Time Trial with THAT much on display!

Thank you to everyone who came out last night. You brought the numbers, the spirit and the Pirates-level gees we know and love! 🏴‍☠️

Same time next week? 😜

👀🔥 Was Maxime Chaumeton just here to suss out the competition?

Our SA 5K and 10K record holder popped in to say hi at Time Trial, but with the Valencia 21K coming up, he sensibly kept the legs fresh rather than joining the run.

But rumour has it… he’ll be back. 👀🔥

Watch this space, Pirates! 🏴‍☠️

Loving tonight’s turnout.. non-members always more than welcome to join us, every Tuesday Time Trial, 17h45, at our Running Clubhouse, East Campus

B***s & Blossoms is more than just a run. 💗💜

Every October, we gather beneath Johannesburg’s beautiful jacaranda-lined streets to support an important cause and celebrate the spirit of community.

Join us on Sunday, 25 October at 06:30 from Pirates Club for our 5th annual B***s & Blossoms Run/Walk, a fundraiser for Philotimo.

Whether you choose the 6km or 13km route, come dressed in pink, bring your family, friends, running crew, pups, and enjoy a morning of blossoms in full bloom.

Together, we raise awareness, support those fighting, celebrate survivors, and remember those no longer with us.

Non-members are welcome. Donations from R50.

Let’s paint the streets pink beneath the purple jacarandas. 💗💜
