We are incredibly grateful to everyone who showed up today you gats are all legends. ❤️

As someone mentioned, “This is the part of Eldos you don’t see.” And today, we saw it in all its glory.
Three running clubs, one community, and one common goal. To bring people together through running and make the 30th Legends Township Marathon something truly special. 🏃🏾‍♂️🏃🏾‍♀️

WOMEN’S RUNNING IS GROWING — BUT SAFETY MATTERS

Running is becoming more popular among women around the world. More women are joining run clubs, entering races and discovering the freedom, health and community that running brings.
But there’s an important question we need to ask, especially during Women’s Month:

Would more WOMAN run if they felt SAFER running in their own communities? 🤔
For many women, the biggest barrier isn’t motivation. It’s safety.

🌅 Early morning running, 👤 Running alone, 🚫 Harassment, 👩🏾‍🤝‍👩🏾 Women-only running groups
Should women have to change the way they run because they are afraid of what might happen to them?

Maybe the answer isn't telling women to "be more careful."
Maybe it's about creating communities where they don't have to be afraid in the first place.

This Women’s Month, let’s start the conversation. ❤️

Today Legends Township Marathon and Legends Barbershop gave haircuts and Goodie bags to the champs and their coaches, who will be flying our to Kenya. On the mission to represent their Country in the sports of American Flag Football. Well done Project Pick Six from Eldorado Park ..

Today the Legends Township Marathon team spent Youth Day at the Suzuki Rugby 🏉 Sevens Youth Day Festival.

What a wonderful feeling to see kids participating in different sporting codes. We feeling privileged to play our little part giving back to our Community

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Legends Township Marathon Awareness Run and Community Give Back Drive.

Whether you ran, walked, volunteered, donated, or simply showed up in support, we thank you. You helped show what it truly means to lead with heart. Events like these are a powerful reminder of the strength of unity in our community. Beyond the miles covered and the soup shared, we witnessed kindness in action.

A special thank you to our runners who will be taking on the ComradesMarathon next week. The community stands firmly behind you. We salute your dedication, discipline, and the hard work that has brought you to this point.

Go out there and make us proud. Most importantly, soak it in and enjoy every moment of the journey next weekend.
