EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED: A MASSIVE CLEAR OUT

Orlando Pirates have made quite a number of signings with some of them being marquee and all the Buccaneers have been very happy with that including myself. However, we should on the same breath, expect the club to part ways with players either on loan or being sold to the highest bidder in order to try and avoid having a bloated squad. In those players expected to leave, there will be those that at this point in time, we are not even seeing them leaving at least on the current transfer window but there will be few.

I remember how the management of the club were insulted when Memela left the club for a better offer at Amazulu FC and in the same window period, the club parted ways with Zambian duo of Augustin Mulenga and the late Justin Shonga amongst others and I see the same thing happening in the coming few days. We love our players and have formed some sort of emotional bond with them but what needs to be understood and accepted is that, at some point they will leave and some of them their time of departure is only delayed by the official announcement. Life it's about trade-offs, it's give and take. As we have welcomed new players and hopefully two still coming, we should expect at least 8 players to leave including those that we love even if it means going out on loan and being sold.

As much as we want to have depth and quality, it shouldn't compromise the the harmony of the squad as a result of bloated squad and with other players who are not getting game time starting to resent those who do. Every coach would love to have a very good and healthy squad with a manageable size so that can give all his players attention they deserve of which creates a healthy and conducive environment for everyone to thrive. Prepare your heart if sense that your favorite player could be on the list of those who will be departing. No player should be kept for sentimental reasons.

๐ŸšจPSL club news ๐Ÿ’›โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡(Must read !!)

โ€ข As long as you're part of this family, you will be updatedโ˜บ๏ธ... Whether you like it, or not, you will get analysed and verified information so that you're informed.

โ€ข I did hear a lot of people saying Chiefs have renewed interest in Appollis & I looked away!... I got a lot of questions about him under many posts, I ignored them cos I didn't wanna entertain something I knew it would not happen. Now, listen here:

โ€ข When ๐™†๐™–๐™ž๐™ฏ๐™š๐™ง ๐˜พ๐™๐™ž๐™š๐™›๐™จ was pushing for Appollis in 2 previous transfer windows, they did all they can. They even offered crazy money but they just didn't want to sell to Chiefs. I remember even getting information that ๐˜พ๐™๐™ž๐™š๐™›๐™จ went straight to Polokwane, but I decided not share cos sometimes I hold myself in saying certain things. I don't get too excited.

โ€ข What happened after that then was, Nabi told Chiefs that he's got someone he's thinking of as a replacement. Chiefs were interested, the player was discussed & Indeed Chiefs invested in him having fetched ๐™‡๐™ž๐™ก๐™š๐™ฅ๐™ค. Mind you, that happened in January now.

โ€ข ๐™‡๐™ž๐™ก๐™š๐™ฅ๐™ค joined Chiefs mid season, provided 6 goals + 1 assist. Appollis played full season, scored 2 goals + 1 assist. Anyone will interpret it anyhow they want, but based on stats & analysis, ๐™‡๐™ž๐™ก๐™š๐™ฅ๐™ค was an upgrade from Appollis. He's a traveled footballer, played overseas, have had really good seasons and experienced. His qualities are unquestioned as everyone can see. His long range shots outside the box says it all without even gelling properly with the team.

โ€ข After that, ๐™†๐™–๐™ž๐™ฏ๐™š๐™ง ๐˜พ๐™๐™ž๐™š๐™›๐™จ moved on completely, and they never looked back nor return to Polokwane City to renew their interest. It was pure lies! Also, as Calvary Chiefs Series , I don't like emotional people. Yes there's rivalry in football but be able to identify/observe what's happening. It was never gonna work cos we got our replacement. Also Chiefs have signed the best players as well

PLAYERS LIKELY TO LEAVE ON LOAN!๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ

Due to the club's significant signings for upcoming season currently the squad size is huge meaning it would be quite impossible for the coach to manage all those players properly.Let's take a look on the players selected by OPI that are likely to be sent on loan.

โ€ขAZOLA TSHOBENI - The dynamite has been one of the lowest minutes accumulators in the team.Although there is new coach he might be given a chance to impress but with the club's mildfield acquisitions there is a clear indication of the plan in the position and i don't see a Azola claiming a spot there.

โ€ขTHUSO MOLELEKI - The playmaker is not a famous name in a Bucs jersey but he is quality player that many are yet to witness. However looking at reality he is highly likely to sit on the bench once again so with that said a loan deal could also be on the cards for him.

โ€ขKARIM KIMVUIDI - The magical 10 hasn't really shown the club what they signed him from Maritzburg. He has been on and off and for that he might given a chance to develop himself but at another club.

โ€ขBOITUMELO RADIOPANE - The Radioman has shown glimpses of what he can produce when given a chance but looking at those he will competing with and how stacked they are,he may still remain a fringe player.

SELEPE & DANSIN- The DDC graduates were impressive in the last games of the previous season but once again the position they play is stacked by quality mildfielders who will cut the minutes very short for them.I foresee them making a return to the development team.

There is no accuracy in these pickouts,to OPI football understanding and analysis these are the players i pinned as the standout for the likely lone deals. The club will give us more details in the coming weeks.

A Mariko Reunion At Orlando Pirates?

The Buccaneers have been offered the opportunity to sign attacking midfielder Abdoulaye Fousseini 'Dine' Mariko from Djoliba AC.

Dine, 21, recently signed a 2-year extension at Djoliba, who are willing to sell the player, considered the best in the Malian top-tier due to his scoring ability, link-up play, and creativity.

If a deal is finalised, Dine would reunite with his former Djoliba teammate and defensive midfielder Abdoulaye S Mariko, 23, at Pirates.
