Going through my very old scrapbook. I stumbled upon reminders of how far I come making shoes. An article written by an old friend Sandile Memela for Sowetan This dates back to between 1991/92 back then I had a shop behind the Market Theatre Florist. It still feels like it was yesterday just thinking about it. When I fell for making shoes I fell hard so hard I gave up on almost all prior career interest and activities which at that time was Dance and acting to focused entirely on making shoes. My journey had already started earlier in 1987 determined not to look back and haven’t stopped since then.
