💛 A personal note I wanted to share with you…

Many of you know that Midlife in Blossom began as a book — shaped by real conversations, lived experience, and a deep belief that midlife is not something to fear or fix, but something to be met with honesty, care, and clarity.

Over time, this work has grown, and I’m really excited to share that Midlife in Blossom is now unfolding into a live global webinar series for women in midlife.

To open the series, I’ll be hosting a live session with Dr.Dr. Taz MD— an integrative physician and global voice in women’s health, hormones, and wellbeing — alongside my co-host, @ Dr Valencia Porter, MD, MPH, a wonderful guide in midlife health, resilience, and empowerment.

✨ This September marks 11 years of Equilibrium — a sanctuary born from burnout. 🌿

Twelve years ago, I hit burnout. What followed was a year-long sabbatical, immersing myself in wellness centers across India and the USA. What began as my own personal recovery also became an immersion in philosophies and practices from East and West — wisdom that later inspired the creation of Equilibrium.

In September 2014, that vision came to life as Equilibrium — a boutique and elevated wellness center bringing together therapies, practitioners, and specialists to support the mind, body, and emotions.

A shift in perspective….

Recognizing that each exercise move, we do, every activity that we include in our daily routines has benefits beyond what is traditionally focused on allows the modern person to be able to develop all aspects of themselves without having to spend a tremendous amount of extra time. This is an Integrated Approach to Total Well Being. The alternative to this is to spend time every day, doing workouts for your body, reading books, listening to podcasts, and ingesting content for your mind. Spending time processing emotions inside of you. This will take a minimum of 3 to 4 hours to properly do all of this in one day. This is not practical for any person to maintain on a daily basis. And integrated approach to total well-being, allows us to recognize that our body, mind and emotions are all connected. Therefore, when we do physical exercise, it also affects the mind and emotions. My focus on mental principles, it also affects the body and emotions. And when we process our emotions, the way we feel, there’s a direct change in our mind and body.
