FRIDAY FEMME | CELEBRATE PROGRESS

Progress doesn’t always look like a faster time, a bigger climb or another kilometre added to the Strava. Sometimes progress is simply getting on your bike when you nearly talked yourself out of riding.

It’s the climb you didn’t walk.
The section you finally attempted.
The distance you didn’t think you could do.
The ride where you surprised yourself.
And sometimes, progress is just showing up.

Don’t compare your chapter 3 to someone else’s chapter 30. Every rider has a different starting point, a different journey and a different reason for being out there.

At Chain Gang Femme, we don’t believe you have to be the fastest, strongest or most experienced woman on the trail.

You just need to keep riding your own ride.

So this Friday, and every day for that matter, forget the comparison. Look back instead. See how far you have come!

FRIDAY FEMME FOCUS

Your bike has never cared about your age.
It doesn’t care about your size.
It doesn’t care whether you’re riding the newest bike or one you’ve owned for years.
It doesn’t care how fast you climb, how many times you stop to catch your breath, or whether you walk a technical section.

It simply waits for you to show up.

Sometimes the biggest obstacle isn’t the trail, it’s the voice in our own heads telling us we’re not fit enough, fast enough, brave enough, or experienced enough.

At Chain Gang Femme, we believe there isn’t one “type” of mountain biker.

If you ride, you belong.

Sunday 9th August - Women’s Day Ride.

Join us for a fun, social morning of riding bikes and sharing in the passion for mountain biking.

We will be providing some post ride refreshments and have some giveaway’s courtesy of our supporting partners.

What you need to bring:
Sparking personalities
Riding gear & bikes
Your friends
Trail fee
And if possible, a donation of dog or cat food for the SPCA.
