Champions League goal is simple; men teaching men how to be leaders in their communities creating a social change cycle.

Champions League is a Grassroot Soccer UCLA/University of Stellenbosch funded project designed for men 18-24 year old who are unemployed and potentially at risk for substance abuse. The structured soccer league has a total of 71 players led by 11 male coaches/facilitators. Teams meet for two practices, a combination of life skill and soccer, and one match day weekly. AC Milan earned the most overall match points in three Friday tournaments, combined with total amount of team attendance at practices and match days in the three weeks. They earned tickets to the Manchester United vs Ajax Cape Town match on Saturday, July 21st. AC Milan was joined by the CL coaches for the match. It was a great overall day with the match going down to the last second ending in 1-1 draw. It was the first time many of the players and coaches had watched a live professional game.
