The Khs club annual Barcelona race was held from Cape Town this weekend with Hartswater and Postmasburg and Strydenburg members combined. The release was done Jacoba Du Plessis and Paul du Plessis had a bird that just amazed everyone clocking in Kimberley @ 05.33 Sunday morning. Congratulations!!! Full results below.

With a tough last race from Stellenbosch to Kimberley on Saturday, the winners were home late Saturday afternoon. Congratulations to the winners! Congratulations to John & Louis that beat a very competitive JB Cornelius as well as J + J Lofts ( Jacoba Du Plessis ) and Du Plessis lofts (her husband Paul). Well done to all and thank you for the season!

With the weather not permitting release on Saturday, we brought the birds back from a planned Bredasdorp, to Touwsrivier. They put up a steady pace because of cooler conditions. Well done to J & J lofts as well as R A Steinmann with break away wins!!! With one week to go, we look forward in closing off the season on a high.

JB Cornelius winning both Open races on a not so easy Robertson. Well done!!! I also have to mention The partners Paul & Jacoba Du Plessis. As husband and wife they are quite the formidable team!

With a east South easterly wind prevalent on Saturday, we knew it would test the birds properly, especially since there was some mist during liberation @ Touwsrivier. Congratulations to the winners 🏆!

We had clear skies and a beautiful day for racing on Saturday 14.6.2025 from Cradock. Light NE wind and the birds made good time. Liberated @ 08.00 and 08.30, the first birds arrived @ 13.01. Well done to the winners!!!
