On behalf of the Kimberley Equestrian Centre (KEC), we would like to thank you for entering the FS, NW & NC leg of the 2026 DSA Challenge, and we look forward to welcoming you to our club. The Programme as well as the stabling list have been uploaded to the DSA Portal, please check your entries if you have not already done so.

We would like to thank Darsha Insurance Brokers for sponsoring the beautiful rosettes for the show, and hope that you all return home with at least one! We also thank Mein Heim Guest Farm for sponsoring accommodation for the warmup Judges, and to Letsatsi Game Lodge for sponsoring a voucher for a weekend away for two, to be raffled, and proceeds of which have been added to the prizemoney. Our thanks also go to Western Shoppe Bloemfontein for the donation of product hampers for additional prizes.

We request that riders please not use the club’s paddocks unless you have booked one, as they are used for our livery horses during the day.

All passports for horses competing in the DSA Challenge classes must be handed in at the Scorer’s box by 09:00 on Saturday, and collected again after 16:00 on Saturday.

Please take note of the following:
• A and B Dressage arenas will be open for competitors to ride in on Friday until 17:00.
• All DSA Challenge classes are to be ridden from memory except Pony Rider & Children's Prelim. Warm ups & qualifiers may have a caller.
• All Dressage SA Challenge classes are to ridden without a whip
• All qualifiers/warmup classes may be ridden with a whip
• Immediately after completing the DSA Challenge Tests, horses and riders must please report to the appointed steward for a saddlery check.

The kitchen and bar will be open for the duration of the show. Please note that the club has a liquor licence and that no private alcohol may be brought onto the premises.

We are holding our traditional Steak Braai on Saturday evening, straight after the prizegiving. To avoid disappointment please send your order and proof of payment to me by the end of today (Tuesday) as we order the steaks in advance. Cost is R150pp. Please refer to the programme for details of the Sunday prizegivings.

If you have ordered grooms meals, please ask your groom to collect his supper between 17:30 and 18:00 on Friday and Saturday. Breakfast can be fetched between 8 & 10am, and lunch from 12:30-14:30. Grooms meals are only available on pre-order as we have to order meat etc. well in advance.
