Dust, Determination, and Glory…

As the dust finally settles across the vast, unforgiving horizons of Central South Africa, the Oryx Unbound Gravel Series closes its chapter for 2026. What a journey it has been. From the thin, breathless mountain air of the eastern escarpment to the sun-scorched flats of the Karoo, this year’s calendar tested the limits of grit, gear, and sheer human resolve.

Through five premier events, hundreds of kilometers of brutal terrain, and relentless mental battles, only the most consistent and resilient warriors carved their names into the history books after an unforgettable year of racing, the 2026 series champions earned every inch of their glory.

Whether riders were tackling the premier Unbound, pushing through the mid-distance Quest, or sprinting through the fast-paced Dash route, every distance showcased incredible grit, sportsmanship, and determination across the gravel roads of Central South Africa.

Congratulations once again to all our champions and every rider who conquered their distance throughout the season—thank you for your incredible support, determination, and passion in making the 2026 Oryx Unbound Series an absolute success!

We also extend our sincere gratitude to all our partners whose continuous backing made this entire series possible. Your commitment to the sport, our riders, and the gravel community is what drives these events forward year after year.
