🎉The official welcome and opening ceremony with the players in their teams on court followed by an awesome day of tennis fun with great memories made!

Coach Perry and the Westside Tennis Academy team is so proud and grateful to the players, parents and teachers for such a great experience celebrating this lifetime sport that we love! 🎾

Westside and Tennis South Africa (TSA) teamed up! We partnered together to develop a Green and Orange ball tournament for the school tennis children.

Schools were represented proudly with their teachers cheering them on and giving them their well deserve medals at the awards ceremony!

Join us for the Tennis Holiday Programme: Get prepared for your 3rd & 4th term league and trials!

Westside hosted a 2 hour practice session preparing the La Hoff grade 2 and 3 players for the La Hoff Tennis trials next week. 🎾

The Westside training programme for the 2nd term began Monday 6 April. The theme is training players to compete. Monday the grade 1 to grade 4 were able to score for matchplay. They are ready to play school trials, compete in tournaments and to compete in the upcoming school league. Well done players!

Coach Perry and the coaching team, Lebone and Jayden, thank the parents for supporting the match play practices. The grade 2, 3 and 4 leaners that participated are now able to score in singles. We also introduced them to doubles. This will prepare them for the upcoming school league!

Congratulations to Coach Perry for participating as a Player and Committee Member and representing South Africa in the IC Nations Tennis Tournament held in Cape Town in March 2026. 🎉

The following countries participated:
Australia, Belgium, Canada, Great Britain, Luxembourg, New Zealand, South Africa and United States of America.

🎾Coach Perry says, “It was an honor to play for South Africa and be part of such an incredible tournament. Being surrounded by players of such high esteem and who have a great love for the sport was unforgettable.”🎾

We had the exciting chance to introduce the great sport of tennis to some of the students at Laerskool Mooirivier this past week! 🎾❤️
