As home pools reopen for the season, a few things are worth checking before the summer rush starts.

A working pool fence or cover, an adult who is actually watching rather than nearby, and a realistic sense of what your child can and can't yet do in the water. None of it is complicated, all of it matters.

Save this for the next family chat about pool season. Want your child more confident before summer? Contact Aquatic Zone Knysna on 081 857 6908.

A lot of adults never learned to swim, and most of them have been meaning to for years.

Our adult lessons are patient and built entirely around where you're starting from, whether that's a complete beginner or wanting to feel safer in deeper water. No judgment, no rush.

Tag someone who has always meant to learn. Contact Aquatic Zone Knysna on 081 857 6908.

Save this one, because these are the questions we hear from almost every new parent.

There is no single right age to start, no lesson so critical that missing it sets a child back permanently, and no universal answer to group versus private. It depends on the child in front of us, every time.

Have a question specific to your own child? Contact Aquatic Zone Knysna on 081 857 6908.

Floating looks like the boring part of a lesson. It is actually one of the most important.

A child who can float on their back can rest, breathe and stay calm in the water, even before they can swim a stroke. That single skill is behind a lot of what makes a confident swimmer confident.

Have a question about what your child is learning and why? Send us a message, we will answer it. Contact Aquatic Zone Knysna on 081 857 6908.

💦🐠 SPLASH & PLAY CLASSES 🐠💦

The perfect first step on your little one's swimming journey! 💙

At Little Sharks Swim School, we believe that a gentle, pressure-free introduction to water is the foundation for a lifelong love of swimming.

Our Splash & Play classes are designed to be relaxed, fun, and full of smiles! Mom, Dad, or Grandparent joins your little one in the pool, helping them feel safe, loved, and secure while they explore the water at their own pace.

💙 No pressure.
💙 No judgement.
💙 No expectations.

Our qualified instructor will never make physical contact with your child unless your child initiates it, helping to ensure a positive, anxiety-free experience.

With plenty of toys and water play, your little one will build confidence while making new swimming friends in a safe and supportive environment.

When your child is happy and confident in the water with our instructor, they'll be ready to begin formal Learn-to-Swim lessons.

✨ Come and enjoy a fun playdate in the pool with other parents and little ones!
