My niece and I were browsing in a crystal shop and she was drawn to a piece of Carnelian. As it's her birthday this weekend, it made me think about that visit and what this stone is all about!

Carnelian is a brownish-red to orange variety of chalcedony. It is associated with courage, motivation, creativity, vitality and confidence and is linked to the Sacral and Root Chakras.
