🏉💙💗 A LANDMARK ACHIEVEMENT FOR TITANS RUGBY ACADEMY! 💗💙💚💛

CONGRATULATIONS, COACH MARLENE ADAMS!

Titans Rugby Academy proudly celebrates our Head of Junior Rugby, Marlene Adams , on her invitation to participate in the historic World Rugby Level 3 Course – Phase 1, taking place from 23–28 October 2026 at Delsma Sports Farm in Riebeek Kasteel, Western Cape.

This landmark programme brings together leading female coaches from South Africa, Kenya and Zimbabwe for the first standalone World Rugby Level 3 course dedicated to women coaches — an important step in developing women for elite and high-performance coaching environments.

For Marlene, this invitation represents more than personal achievement. It is recognition of her continued commitment to coaching, developing young players and creating opportunities for girls to excel through rugby. From her work as Head Coach of the SWD Eagirls U18 team to her leadership of junior rugby at Titans Rugby Academy, Marlene continues to make a meaningful contribution to the future of women’s rugby.

“We are extremely proud of Marlene and happy for her. We are also delighted to see former Titans captain and co-founding member of the Titans Rugby Academy, Mathrin Simmers, on the list. We wish both ladies from Knysna all the best with this course.”- Coach Ash , Director of Rugby at Titans Rugby Academy

Having two women with strong Titans roots represented in this important development pathway is a powerful reminder of what grassroots investment, dedication and opportunity can achieve.

At Titans Rugby Academy, we believe that developing players also means developing coaches, leaders and role models who will inspire the next generation.

Marlene, this is your moment to learn, grow, lead and continue breaking barriers. Knysna is proud of you, and the entire Titans family is behind you!

From grassroots to high performance — the journey continues! 💪🏉

CONGRATULATIONS, PETER “PJ” MILLER! 🎉👏

🏆🇿🇦 FROM GRASSROOTS TO THE WORLD STAGE! 🌍🏉

Titans Rugby Academy proudly congratulates Peter “PJ” Miller on his incredible achievement of being called up to the International Touch Rugby Referee Team for the Touch Rugby World Cup 2027! 🌍🏆

This is a well-deserved recognition of PJ’s dedication, commitment, hard work and passion for the game of rugby in all its forms.

PJ is not only an outstanding referee but also the Head Coach of the Titans Rugby Academy Primary School Girls Programme and Fraaisig Primary School, where he continues to play an important role in developing young talent and inspiring the next generation of players.

His journey with Touch Rugby goes back to November 2021, when he was among the first members to join us as we introduced Touch Rugby to Knysna through the TWRA Touch Sunday Competitions, under the leadership of Ruth Wessels, now Williams, co-founder of SWD Touch Rugby & Titans Rugby Academy High Performance Program Athlete

From those early days in Knysna to earning an opportunity to officiate on the world stage, PJ’s journey is a powerful reminder that consistency, dedication and believing in your journey can open doors to extraordinary opportunities.

We are incredibly proud to see one of our own reach this milestone. Your hard work has been rewarded, and your achievement is an inspiration to our players, coaches, officials and the entire Titans family.

Representing your country is one of the greatest honours in sport. 🇿🇦 We have no doubt that you will represent South Africa, Knysna, your family and Titans Rugby Academy with pride, professionalism and distinction.

“PJ, we are extremely proud of you. I have watched your journey from the early days of Touch Rugby in Knysna, and it is special to see your dedication and commitment rewarded in this way. Continue to work hard, remain humble and embrace this incredible opportunity. You are proof that great things can come from grassroots sport.

Go out there and represent us with pride. The world is waiting! 🌍🏉”
