Happy birthday uncle Siya

Our dedicated little horse riders sang Happy birthday so beautifully.
It was such a sweet moment and the perfect way to celebrate someone who does so much behind the scenes to care for our horses and riders.

🐴 Who said losing your stirrups is just for the juniors? 😜

Balance on horseback is important for every rider, no matter how experienced you are. So today, our more seasoned riders got to join in the fun — with their stirrups taken away! 🙈

It’s amazing how quickly those legs start working when your stirrups disappear! 😂

No stirrups means no shortcuts — just seat, balance, core strength and a whole lot of concentration. 💪🐎

Because sometimes, even our experienced riders need a little reminder that the horse doesn’t come with a built-in chair! 🤣

🐴 Today’s lesson: No stirrups & no hands! 😱🙌

Today our young riders worked on their balance with two fun challenges — riding without stirrups and, separately, riding without using their hands. And no, we weren’t asking them to do both at the same time! 😂 (YET)

These exercises are fantastic for developing balance, core strength, coordination, body awareness and an independent seat.

Without stirrups to rely on, riders learn to find their balance and move with the horse. Riding without their hands encourages them to develop a secure seat and use their body and legs to communicate with their horse.

There was plenty of concentration, a few giggles and lots of proud little riders! ❤️🐎

Building balance in the saddle, one challenge at a time! 🌟

More Than a Ride 🐴❤️

There’s something wonderfully quirky about the relationship between a horse and its human. You can’t always explain it, and you certainly can’t force it — somehow, they just get each other.

And it’s not only our young riders who experience this special connection. Parents can form just as meaningful a bond with a horse — whether they’re riding, grooming, cheering from the sidelines or simply spending time together. 🥰

Amidst the excitement of a show, these moments remind us that horses are about so much more than ribbons and results. They teach us trust, patience, partnership and friendship — and sometimes become the best kind of four-legged therapy. 🐎❤️
