These results are a testament to the hard work, discipline, and fighting spirit shown by our athletes throughout the competition.

A big congratulations must also go to all our remaining team members who stepped onto the tatami and gave it their absolute all. While not everyone returned with a medal, the experience gained at this level of competition is invaluable and will undoubtedly contribute to their growth and future success.

Competing on an international stage against some of the best young karateka in the world, both athletes displayed exceptional skill, determination, and fighting spirit. Their performances are a true reflection of the dedication they bring to their training and the strength of our karate community.

A special mention must also go to Dylan Seyffert and Evelyn Boonzaaier-Hemingway for giving it their all. While they may not have achieved the results they had hoped for, the experience gained on the international stage is invaluable and will undoubtedly hold them in good stead for the future.

This success not only highlights individual excellence but also showcases the continued growth of karate in our region. We are proud to see our athletes flying the flag high and making their mark on the global stage.

Members from Morgan Moss Karate International will proudly represent the province of Gauteng at the 2026 KSA Development National Championships and 2026 KSA Senior National Championships respectively. This event takes place in Pretoria and will see the culmination of athletes from all across the country representing the 9 respective Provinces. Athletes across multiple associations and styles will compete for a place in the official National Team sanctioned by Government. The best of Goju-Ryu, Shotokan and Sh*to-Ryu in one venue to become National Champion. Good luck to all our members. Your have made me a proud Sensei.

الجزائر تستضيف بطولة إفريقيا للكاراتيه 2026… واعتماد فئة تحت 21 عامًا رسميًا

في خطوة تعكس الطموح المتزايد لتطوير اللعبة على المستوى القاري، صادقت اللجنة التنفيذية لـ اتحاد اتحادات الكاراتيه الأفريقية (UFAK) رسميًا على إدراج فئات جديدة ضمن برنامج بطولة أفريقيا للكاراتيه 2026، والمقرر إقامتها في الجزائر العاصمة خلال شهر سبتمبر 2026.

فئة تحت 21 عامًا… مواكبة للمعايير العالمية

القرار الأبرز في أجندة الاجتماع تمثل في استحداث فئة تحت 21 عامًا، لتُضاف إلى فئات الناشئين والشباب والكبار، في خطوة تتماشى مع تطور المنافسات القارية ومعايير الاتحاد العالمي للكاراتيه.

ويعكس هذا التحديث حرص الاتحاد الإفريقي على سد الفجوة بين مرحلتي الشباب والكبار، ومنح اللاعبين الواعدين مساحة أكبر للاحتكاك القاري وصقل خبراتهم قبل الدخول الكامل إلى فئة العمومي.

تمديد مدة البطولة إلى أربعة أيام

ونتيجة لهذا التوسع في البرنامج الفني، تقرر تمديد منافسات البطولة لتقام على مدار أربعة أيام كاملة، من الخميس إلى الأحد، بما يضمن انسيابية المنافسات وإتاحة الوقت الكافي لإقامة جميع الفئات في أفضل الظروف التنظيمية والفنية.

هذه الزيادة الزمنية تؤكد حجم المشاركة المتوقع، كما تعكس الثقة في قدرة الجزائر العاصمة على تنظيم حدث قاري بهذا الحجم، خاصة في ظل ما تمتلكه من بنية تحتية رياضية متميزة وخبرة تنظيمية معتبرة.

اهتمام خاص بالحكام

وفي إطار الحرص على رفع المستوى الفني والتحكيمي، شددت اللجنة التنفيذية على ضرورة حضور الحكام مبكرًا قبل انطلاق المنافسات، للمشاركة في الدورات التدريبية والتنشيطية والاختبارات المعتمدة، بما يضمن توحيد المعايير التحكيمية وتطبيق اللوائح بأعلى درجات الاحترافية.

استعدادات مبكرة ومطالب واضحة للاتحادات الوطنية

ودعت اللجنة جميع الاتحادات الوطنية الأعضاء إلى اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان مشاركة وفودها وفق الأحكام الجديدة، مع التأكيد على أن التفاصيل الكاملة للبرنامج والترتيبات اللوجستية سيتم الإعلان عنها في الوقت المناسب.

بطولة إفريقيا للكاراتيه 2026 في الجزائر العاصمة لا تبدو مجرد نسخة جديدة من الحدث القاري، بل محطة مفصلية في مسار تطوير اللعبة داخل القارة السمراء. فإضافة فئة تحت 21 عامًا وتمديد أيام المنافسات يمثلان رسالة واضحة بأن الكاراتيه الإفريقي يسير بخطى ثابتة نحو مزيد من الاحتراف والتنظيم، تمهيدًا لمستقبل أكثر إشراقًا على الساحة العالمية. 🥋🌍
