Spring Has Sprung (and So Did Our Bowlers!)
🌸🪵
Another unforgettable edition of the Irish Rock 3-Wood Pairs is in the books! Held on the final Friday of the month at the Krugersdorp Bowling Club, we proved once and for all that real men do indeed bloom in September (and look fabulous doing it).
A massive round of applause to our triumphant competitors who navigated the greens with absolute precision and style:
Cup Champions (🏆🥇🌸): Jaco van Deventer & Dylan van Deventer — Masterclass performance, sealing their well-deserved victory.
Plate Winners (🥈🌸): Ingrid Vermooten & Gina du Plooy — Showing everyone how it's done with skill and determination.
Plot Twist! As an extra reward for their stellar play today, both of these powerhouse teams have automatically qualified for the December Cup and Plate Finals. 🌸🌸🩷
Thank You! 🙏💕
To our incredible supporters, loyal club members, and wonderful participants: none of this would be possible without your energy and enthusiasm. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making every last Friday of the month an absolute highlight.

Celebrating Heritage, Bowls, and Braais the Krugersdorp Way! 🇿🇦
There is nothing quite like a South African public holiday spent doing what we love best: good company, great sportsmanship, and fires crackling under the shade of our beloved Elm tree.
We had an incredible turnout of 74 members and family coming together at the Krugersdorp Bowling Club to celebrate Heritage Day. While the competition on the greens was fierce, the kuier afterwards was even better—proving once and for all that our members are just as lethal with a pair of tongs as they are with a bowl!
"You can take the bowler off the green, but you can't take the braai out of the Heritage Day."
Thank you to everyone who joined in to make it a memorable day of fun, laughter, and community spirit. Here is to preserving our traditions, perfecting our draw shots, and mastering the art of the perfect chop!

🌟 A BIG THANK YOU FROM THE U/35’s! 🌟

On behalf of all of us in the U/35’s, we would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every person who attended, supported and contributed to our U/35 Fundraiser. ❤️

Your presence and support meant more to us than we can put into words.

Whether you attended the event, helped behind the scenes, contributed in any way, or simply came out to support us — thank you for being part of it.

Events like these remind us that we are incredibly fortunate to be part of a club where people show up for one another and where there is such a strong sense of community and support.

As the U/35’s, we are proud and grateful to represent our district, and we certainly do not take the support we receive for granted.
We hope to carry that same spirit, commitment and pride with us in everything that lies ahead.

Most importantly, we hope to make you all proud. 💙

Thank you for believing in us, for backing us and for making our fundraiser so special.

We appreciate every single one of you and look forward to representing our district to the very best of our ability.

With much love and appreciation,
The U/35’s ❤️
