Congratulations to Debbie Birch (née Carter) on receiving the prestigious Charity Communications Leader of the Year 2026 (UK) award at the Influential Businesswoman Awards.
This recognition is so richly deserved and reflects Debbie’s incredible passion, leadership, and commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Beyond her remarkable achievements abroad, Debbie has remained deeply connected to Woodridge, tirelessly working to ensure that the school’s legacy, values, and spirit continue to live on for generations to come.
As the founder of the Fideliter Trust, she has played an instrumental role in strengthening the global Woodridge family, supporting bursaries, preserving heritage, and keeping Old Woodridgeans connected across the world.

Our first Premier 500 draw for 2026 will take place on Friday, 27 March from 6pm onwards at the PE Golf Club, after our annual Golf Day ⛳.
Gourmet burgers with rustic fries will be available at R150 each (pre-orders required).
Kindly RSVP by Wednesday, 25 March and indicate the number of burgers you would like to order.
The evening will begin with dinner, followed by the closing of the Foundation's online auction, the golf day prize giving, and the Premier 500 draw 🎉.

With immense sadness we share the passing of Mark King.
Woodridge played an enormous part of Mark's life, he was the headboy of the class of 1977 (Founders House), and sadly passed away on Tuesday.
His family invites you to join them to celebrate his life, on Saturday, 21 March at the Southender in Port Elizabeth at 12h30.
Our heartfelt condolences to all of his family and friends🕊️🤍.
