Good day guys, I have an Irishman visiting and he would really love to see SA v NZ at either Ellis Park or Nelspruit

Does anyone have any connections to get four (4) tickets at around R1,500 each next to each other, as currently all you can get on the internet are tickets that are apart and for R3,000 which is a bit too much, and they cannot sit next to each other, which is not great

Durban July 2022 Preview

If you are a seasoned punter, a value punter, or just a once a year Durban July punter, these are my fancies for the Durban July day, have a look and let us make some money!!

Race 1
I like Miss Daisy, but actually prefer the stable companion Mighty Goddess, at 12/1 offers some value.
Suggested bet:
Each Way - Mighty Goddess (9)
Exacta Boxed – Mighty Goddess & Miss Daisy (7)

Race 2
They have an even money horse called Now I got you, sure it can win, but it can run without my money, I have looked a little lower down and found a couple of roughies in Thymetoshine at 16/1, Blackberry Malt at 16/1 and Raffles at 25/1 which could well be giving this even money fav a run

Win – Thymetoshine (1)
Win – Raffles (4)
Win – Blackberry Malt (7)
Trifecta & Quartet Boxed – Thymetoshine, Raffles, Blackberry Malt and Now I got You (2)

Race 3
Tough race, a little value in ZillZaal at 8/1
Suggested bet:
Win – ZillZaal (4)

Race 4
The eight to ten fav should win this one, but I like Monashada at 25/1 to be in the mix

Exacta boxed with Black thorn (8)

Race 5:
A Boat race awaits us in the 5th, with two fifteen to ten favs, but if you are looking for a lurker and for back ends of Trifectas and Quartets, do not leave out Only Hearts, has course and distance form and at 33/1, I cannot ignore it

Each way – Only Hearts (2)
Include in all exactas, trifectas, and quartets with your other selections
Race 6
A reasonably open race, again I look down the page and I have found Formagear at 16/1, decent run first time out, small step up to 1400m, but at this price I am interested

Race 7 – Durban July Main Race
A lot of chatter about the likes of Safe Passage, Kommetdieding and Linebacker who are this years favs, but honestly they can all run without my money and I am going to suggest that Do it again will do just that, be the very first horse to win 3 July’s, at 7 years old, it’s the last chance this horse will have. At 10/1 in my opinion offers value. Down the page I find Puerto Manzano at a ridiculously attractive 66/1. I also find myself not ruling out Belgarion either, but let’s not play, its wide open this year.
Suggested bet:
Each way - Puerto Manzano (5)
Win – Do it again (2)
Exotics, include the above two and Belgarion (11) in everything

Race 8
A four to ten awaits us in the eighth in Captain’s Ransom, at that price I will not have it, but I have found what I think is the only horse that will pose a danger at a price, Under Your Spell at 10/1
Suggested bet:
Exacta boxed – Captain’s ransom (8) and Under your Spell (3)

Race 9
Bartholdi at 10/1 and Sound of Warning catch the eye in a wide-open race, the favourite William Robertson at 9/2 is also in the race
Suggested bet:
Win – Bartholdi (10)
Win – Sound of Warning (6)

Race 10
Another wide-open race, the favourite Warrior looks good, but at 3/1 is a tad short, I think Indlamu, Party Time and Hasta Manana are runners and have far more attractive prices

Win – Hasta Manana (10)
Trifecta & Quartet boxed – Indlamu, Party Time, Hasta Manana, and Warrior (7)

Race 11
Grimaldi can start now, only Sunday Island and Willows Wish amongst the favs have any chance, but I also like Fateful Day to mix it up at 14/1

Race 12
In the last race, I look for one horse, either to close out a wonderful day or a get out punt, this year my one and only strike for race 12 will be, Just be Nice at 5/1
