🎉 What an unforgettable morning! Last week the Luthuli Museum and Zweli Fitness Club brought the community together for an electrifying 9KM Walk/Run Community Activation — and the energy was off the charts!

📍 We kicked off at the Luthuli Museum 🏁 Crossed the finish line at Groutville Sports Ground 🗓️ Saturday, 30 May ⏰

💪🏾 The atmosphere was electric — filled with laughter, determination, and unity. Participants showed up in their best fitness gear, radiating positivity and proving that together, we can achieve incredible things.

This event wasn’t just about walking or running; it was about celebrating health, fitness, and community spirit.

Join us for the 2026 Chief Albert Luthuli Walk & Fun Run as we celebrate 10 years of walking together, remembering together, and building community together.

Experience the journey that Chief Albert Luthuli took daily and be inspired by the values he lived by—courage, perseverance, service, peace, justice, non-racialism, and equality. What began as a local commemorative walk has grown into an annual pilgrimage that brings together thousands of participants from across South Africa and beyond to honour the remarkable legacy of Chief Albert Luthuli.

This year is extra special as we celebrate a decade of the Walk & Fun Run under the theme "One Legacy, One Community – 10 Years Strong." Whether you're walking, running, or simply coming to be part of the atmosphere, you'll be joining a movement that keeps Chief Albert Luthuli’s vision alive for future generations.
