🌞🏃‍♀️ Greetings from all of us at Ladysmith parkrun! 🏃‍♂️🌞

🔥 What a scorcher! We’re currently experiencing a heatwave, with temperatures reaching a sizzling 29°C by 9:00am! 🥵☀️ But that certainly didn’t stop our dedicated runners, joggers and walkers from lining up for parkrun #422! 🙌

👟 141 parkrunners joined us today, including lots of visitors and first-timers — it was wonderful to see so many new faces!

🌍 A special welcome to our visitors:
🏃‍♂️ Rodney & Jane Cook from Ballito, both experienced parkrunners with 350+ milestone events each! 👏👏
🏃‍♂️ Luiz de Andrade from Welkom in the Free State, with an amazing 260+ milestone runs and 70+ tourist events! 🌎
🇲🇺 And a big Mauritian welcome to the lovely ladies who joined us today!
🇿🇦 Yongama Madyibi from Bela-Bela also joined us, bringing along his beautiful Afrikaans accent! 😄

It’s fantastic to see our faithful parkrunners bringing their friends and visitors along to experience the joy of parkrun. ❤️

Please bring plenty of water and stay hydrated on warm days like today. And don’t forget our four-legged parkrunners 🐶 — make sure your pets have access to water along the route too always on a leash! 💦🐾

🏃‍♀️🌞 LADYSMITH PARKRUN REPORT – EVENT #421! 🎉🎈

What a fantastic morning at Ladysmith parkrun! 💚💛

A wonderful 140 runners, joggers and walkers joined us for Event #421! 🙌 We managed to cross the finish line just before the morning’s low clouds began to disappear. The weather was heating up, so those clouds were a very welcome sight! ☁️😎

💧 A little reminder: As the temperatures rise, remember to bring your water bottle along and stay hydrated. Let’s keep those smiles shining and those feet moving! 🥤👟

🌍 A warm Ladysmith welcome! A big hello to all our first-timers and visitors from Nieu-Zeeland (New Zealand)! 🇳🇿👏 We hope you enjoyed our beautiful course and the wonderful parkrun spirit. We can’t wait to see you all again!

🎂 Celebrating 22 Years of parkrun! 🎂

What a glorious sunny October morning for another fantastic parkrun! ☀️🌿

Our 120 parkrunners made the most of Event #420, and it was wonderful to welcome so many first-timers to the parkrun family. 👋😊 We hope you enjoyed the morning and look forward to seeing you all again next week!

🌞🏃‍♀️ Ladysmith parkrun – What a beautiful spring morning 🌸🌿Happy SA Heritage to everyone 🇿🇦 #419

What a glorious sunny morning it was at Ladysmith! ☀️💚 After all the rain we’ve had over the past week, the course was a little muddy with some casual water 💦👟 — but the golf course is starting to show off its beautiful green spring colours again! 🌱⛳️

A big WELCOME to all our first-timers! 👋🥳 And an extra-special welcome to our parkrun visitors from Johannesburg, Wits parkrun, Standerton, Umtata and Shongweni! 🌍🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ We hope you had a fantastic time with us and enjoyed your Ladysmith experience! ❤️
