A lot has happend since our last post here’s some of what you missed out on, with the hunting season drawing closer we are excited to share some of the hunts that has happend in the meanwhile, our pricelist wil be finalised and posted in the next 2 weeks then bookings will be opened we are excited to be working alongside other consessions in the area wil keep you posted from our side.

The unplanned Bullseye!! This day hunt turned out to be yet another hunt never to be forgotten at Stoneriver this bull had his way of escaping gunshots for sometime now! But this time he set a foot wrong! And the hunter won this hunt! Welldone on this amazing animal!

Over Easter these two extremely hard working hunters had their work cut out for them as we got to know the farm, with full moon on the rise it was a very hard hunt. But needless a few animals were taken and a nice eland cow to complete the hunt at 99.9 as we said we wil end the hunt at 9. the cow gave us a shot 20min to 9.

A awesome midweek hunt, this hunt was all about patience and spectacular shot placement This eland cow was downed with a perfect headshot from a .223 calibre this old lady had a carcass weight of 290kg followed by a sable with a heartshot (30-06).We will be posting our pricelist for the season shortly.

A throwback to our last hunt of 2022. This hunt was donated to be auctioned-off at the Kids for Cancer Golfday in Louis Trichardt. Giving back to the community is one of our main priorities at Stone River. We are looking forward to a good year of hunting with you all.
