The girls outnumbered the boys this week. Keep it up ladies ! 🥏

The Slowveld Starlings were not at regionals, however we did rep the colours at the CANSA Relay For Life !

The Slowveld Starlings Running challenge was concluded this week with a little medal ceremony.

1st Place - Christo clocking an impressive 5.93km during a game.

2nd Place - Masana with a 5.23km.

3rd Place - Erika with 4 42km.

Attention all!

Did you know that Frisbee is also a sport?

Indeed the name changed a little and its called Ultimate Frisbee here in South Africa🇿🇦!

The Slowveld Starlings are the proudly based Ultimate Frisbee team in the Lowveld and we are looking for more players to join us in growing our team but also growing the sport within SA.

So if you are looking to try out a new sport, wanting to meet so new people with great SPIRIT or simply interested to give it a try please feel free to join us and share this post with everybody you know! As we are excited to meet you and make you part of a great sport.

We play every Tuesday and Thursday from 5pm till 7pm and the occasional Sunday afternoon on the Lowveld High School main rugby field. Don't stress if you work late and can't be there from the start. We know everybody has responsibilities and you can join at the time most convenient for you😁!
