What is TrailCamp©️ ?

TrailCamp is a bi-monthly, 2-hour outdoor training session designed specifically for hikers who want to improve their fitness, strength, and trail readiness in the company of like-minded adventurers.

Unlike a gym workout, TrailCamp focuses on the physical demands of hiking.Participants train together on real terrain, building endurance, leg strength, balance, and confidence while learning practical skills that make hiking safer and more enjoyable.

Whether you're preparing for a challenging mountain trek, returning to the trails after a break, or simply looking to stay hiking-fit between adventures, TrailCamp provides a supportive environment where hikers can train, learn, and motivate one another.

Train together. Hike stronger. Explore further.

Eswatini Adventure: Three Iconic Peaks, One Unforgettable Journey

This October, we're heading back to the breathtaking Ezulwini Valley in Eswatini for an extraordinary mountain adventure featuring three iconic peaks across two hikes.

What makes this experience different from our previous Eswatini 3-in-1 adventures? This time, we'll connect two of the peaks via a rarely explored trail that passes through a tunnel, creating a unique route that few hikers have had the opportunity to experience.

Leading us along this special section will be Bheki Mamba of Bahambi - "We Hike" , who will take us beyond the usual paths and share a side of Eswatini that most visitors never see.

Expect dramatic mountain scenery, hidden trails, rich local knowledge, and the satisfaction of standing atop three of the kingdom's most memorable summits.

πŸ•οΈ TRAIL CAMP STARTS TOMORROW! πŸ₯Ύ
Tomorrow we kick off the first Trail Camp session – a bi-monthly opportunity to get trail ready and build confidence on the mountain.

Why did we start Trail Camp?

We've noticed that many hikers arrive on the trail underprepared, which can make the experience less enjoyable than it should be. Training alone with a loaded backpack isn't always safe, and let's be honest – it can feel a bit strange too!

Trail Camp gives you the opportunity to train alongside other hikers, practice carrying your pack correctly, and learn useful skills such as proper pack fitting, walking techniques, and stretches that aid post-hike recovery.

Each session includes:
βœ… Guided warm-up
βœ… 2-hour training hike with your gear
βœ… Tips on carrying your pack correctly
βœ… Recovery stretches and hiking advice
βœ… Measurable progress over time

Beginners can start with a 5kg pack, while more experienced hikers are welcome to carry 10kg or more.

Seesions will be based in the Lowveld for now, but will soon expand to other regions.
