Farm Jam Belfast 2026... what a jol!

The morning started off cool enough that we honestly wondered if we made the wrong call… maybe the Lowveld Cowboys onzy cow outfits from Botswana would’ve been warmer than the racing gear.

But the second we rolled into the pits looking for parking, that feeling hit.. that proper mix of excitement, uncertainty, butterflies and adrenaline. You know the one… where your stomach starts asking questions your ego already answered. 😅

And wow, what an atmosphere.

The vibe at Farm Jam is electric. There really is no easy way to explain it. The classes were packed, riders of every skill level were there, and everyone had the same look in their eyes, not knowing exactly how the day was going to go, but ready to test themselves against the route, against the other riders, and mostly against themselves.

For anyone who hasn’t taken part in this event yet do yourself a favour and go experience it.

It doesn’t matter if you’re fast, slow, fit, rusty, nervous or just there for the jol. Everyone is friendly, the routes are world class, the pits are full of good people, and making new friends is pretty much guaranteed.

Yes, it’s racing.
Yes, it comes with risk.
Yes, there are moments where you question your life choices. 😂

But somehow you leave the day already excited for the next one.

For us, this is definitely not our normal style of riding… but are we hooked? Absolutely. Now we’re already thinking about finding a few logs, hunting for rocky climbs, getting the setup dialed in and preparing properly for the next round.

Real terrain. Real riders. Real adrenaline.

The countdown is on and we couldn't be more excited!

This year we're loading the bikes, packing the gear, and heading to one of South Africa's most iconic hare scramble events. Farm Jam is known for its incredible scenery, challenging terrain, and unforgettable riding, and we can't wait to see what the organisers have in store for us this year.

Will it be flowing forest trails? Rocky climbs? River crossings? Technical single track? Fast open sections? We honestly have no idea... and that's exactly what makes the adventure so exciting.

2 years since we started the LOWVELD COWBOYS!!

What started as “let’s go for a ride” somehow turned into river crossings, broken bikes, late night braai's, muddy boots, dust in places dust should never be and memories we’ll talk about for the rest of our lives.

To everyone who has followed the journey, watched the videos, laughed at the chaos, supported the page, waved at us on the trails, or joined us around the fire thank you🙏💯❤️. You are part of this story too.

But most importantly… to our wives, children and families, thank you for letting us disappear into the bushveld chasing sunsets, dirt roads and adventure. Thank you for the patience when rides became “just one more hour” and somehow turned into a full day mission.
Thank you for understanding that this was never only about bikes, it was about friendship, freedom, brotherhood, memories and being reminded that life is meant to be lived.

Lowveld Cowboys became more than riding.
It became family,It became therapy, It became stories our kids will hopefully one day tell and remember "dad made it special" and "maybe dad wasn't that lame after all" 😂.

From riverbeds to mountain trails, from Botswana mud to Lowveld sunsets, from broken parts to unstoppable laughs, every moment mattered.
And the best part?

We’re only getting started.
Here’s to more throttle therapy, more wrong turns, more campfires, more laughs, more memories and many more years of adventure together.
