Sudwala Funscapes Route update Ep. 1 / The Ultimate Playground Begins!/ Lowveld Cowboys
This is Episode 1 of building what we believe will become one of the most exciting riding destinations for the local riders and riders from further out.
In this episode we take you through the river runs, Tight Off-Camber Corners, Forest Sections, fast paced Rocky Climbs and Fire Breaks with some Steep Slate Downhill Turns to keep the adventure lovers entertained.
Updates on reveals to new sections, new obstacles and the incredible scenery that makes Sudwala Funscapes Adventure Centre something truly special still to come in other parts of the route.

Did he save it... or did he just buy a farm?
After the announcement of the route plans in yesterday's post, a small peak about the motivation behind the project.
This is exactly what the vision behind Lowveld Cowboys and Sudwala Funscapes is all about.
A place where families can escape the everyday rush, where kids can laugh, explore and learn to ride, where friends become family around the braai, And where every rider, from beginner to experienced, has a trail to enjoy.
The routes are taking shape, the excitement is growing, and we can't wait to welcome you all.
This is more than a riding venue... It's a place where memories will be made.

The dream is becoming a reality. Over the past few weeks our very own Lowveld Cowboy Dean Guy has been working alongside the incredible team at Sudwala Funscapes Adventure Centre, marking out and building what we believe is going to become one of the most exciting riding destinations in the Lowveld.
This won't just be another riding venue...
Beginner friendly routes for riders finding their confidence, Scenic adventure loops for families to enjoy together, Technical sections to challenge experienced riders, epic views, river crossings, climbs, and proper Lowveld adventure.
Whether you're 8 years old or 60, ride a 125 or a adventure bike, there will be something here for everyone.
But Sudwala Funscapes is about so much more than the riding.
- Beautiful campsites.
- Amazing braai facilities.
- Incredible scenery.
- A venue built for families, friends and unforgettable weekends.
And the best part... This is only the beginning. More exciting developments are already in the pipeline.

Another day at Sudwala Funscapes was spent exploring new routes, marking fresh sections and enjoying the adventure together. From testing technical climbs to ending the day with a braai, rugby and good company, it's a reminder that this place is about far more than riding.
One of the highlights was reaching the highest point on the farm, a lookout known as Mavava with the meaning of "the scars on a champion bull." Standing there in silence, overlooking the entire valley, the name begins to make sense. Every champion carries scars, and every scar tells a story. Sometimes the greatest reward isn't the destination, but the journey that brought you there.
Whether you're here for the riding, the family, the friendships or simply the view, Sudwala Funscapes is a place where memories are made and champions find perspective.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there sharing the passion of riding with their kids.
We don’t just teach them how to ride…
We teach them how to fall, get up, try again, hold the throttle steady, and shout “one more lap!” until Mom starts giving us the look.
The bikes are cool, the dust is part of the deal,
but the memories made with our kids.. that’s the real win.
To every dad pushing bikes, fixing bikes, packing snacks, wiping tears, giving pep talks and secretly enjoying the kid track more than the kids do…

Farm Jam Belfast 2026... what a jol!
The morning started off cool enough that we honestly wondered if we made the wrong call… maybe the Lowveld Cowboys onzy cow outfits from Botswana would’ve been warmer than the racing gear.
But the second we rolled into the pits looking for parking, that feeling hit.. that proper mix of excitement, uncertainty, butterflies and adrenaline. You know the one… where your stomach starts asking questions your ego already answered. 😅
And wow, what an atmosphere.
The vibe at Farm Jam is electric. There really is no easy way to explain it. The classes were packed, riders of every skill level were there, and everyone had the same look in their eyes, not knowing exactly how the day was going to go, but ready to test themselves against the route, against the other riders, and mostly against themselves.
For anyone who hasn’t taken part in this event yet do yourself a favour and go experience it.
It doesn’t matter if you’re fast, slow, fit, rusty, nervous or just there for the jol. Everyone is friendly, the routes are world class, the pits are full of good people, and making new friends is pretty much guaranteed.
Yes, it’s racing.
Yes, it comes with risk.
Yes, there are moments where you question your life choices. 😂
But somehow you leave the day already excited for the next one.
For us, this is definitely not our normal style of riding… but are we hooked? Absolutely. Now we’re already thinking about finding a few logs, hunting for rocky climbs, getting the setup dialed in and preparing properly for the next round.
This is Farm Jam.
Real terrain. Real riders. Real adrenaline.
