Fleur de Lys La Noire won the SA Warmblood champion foal Adela trophy at the South African 2026 Horse of the Year show at Kyalami Park last week. So proud of her and her dam Fleur de Lys Claret. Renea Erasmus showed both La Noire at this year’s show and Claret when she won the SA Warmblood yearling many years ago❤️🦄🌻

Meet Fleur de Lys La Noire, beautiful SA warmblood filly by the legendary KWPN preferred stallion, van Olst Negro, sire of Valegro the 2 time Olympic gold medal dressage winner and KWPN stallion of the year in 2017, with a reliability index of (150 – 95%) for breeding top sport horses. Negro is by Ferro, and competed successfully in the Big Tour classes himself. La Noire is out of Fleur de Lys Claret, by Clarinius, the imported Holsteiner stallion by Contender, a legend in his own, breeding both top showjumping and dressage horses. Claret won the novice professional league in dressage before she jumped up to open classes and won the Gauteng champs at 1.20m, 2 years in a row before we put her in foal to Negro. We are very excited about this filly’s future!
