Our very own Angelo Barrote has been appointed by Alberto, Technical Director of the Real Madrid Educational Football Programme, to join the management team at Generation School's Taroko (JHB) campus.

Angelo’s football journey spans internationally, beginning with spells at Alberton Football Club and Jabez Academy in Johannesburg, before moving to the Western Cape where he represented Sunningdale FC, Vasco da Gama (Cape Town), FN Rangers, Hellenic, and the Nova Nacional. He then took his talents abroad, joining Liga Portugal side Estoril Praia and Lisbon Football Association’s 2nd Division club Fontainhas de Cascais, before returning to the Mother City for a stint with Cape Town Spurs.

To add, he represented South Africa at the 2018 U20 Futsal World Cup in Colombia, where the national team reached the quarter-finals.

In his new role, Angelo will focus on supporting the Real Madrid Educational Football Programme in nurturing and developing talented young footballers - both on and off the field.
