Massive shout out to two of our club officials who was recipients of awards at the MPRC(Mitchell's Plain Referee's Club) 2026 Annual Presentation. 👏👏👏

Ms Aa'isha Isaacs, who just started with officiating this year, out of 3 nominees, where she walked away with the 'Rookie Ref of the Year' award, while Mr Tyriq Toefy, out of more than 10 nominees, scooped up the 'Referees Ref of the Year ' prize for 2026. Well done to both of them 🔥Your commitment and efforts surely paid off 🤝 Also in attendance was our club Chairman, Mr Shane Joemath as an invited guest amongst the other club Chairman's.

SPAR RYGATE CUBS FESTIVAL LAUNCH

Last night our Mini's Manager Mrs Fatiela Davids & Mini's Coach Mr Mujaahid Adams, attended the official launch of the 2026 Spar Rygate Cubs Festival. With 5 days to go, excitement is slowly kicking in for our Mini's as time draws closer for the 2026 edition🔥 What a beautiful event yesterday & well done to the LOC.

U14 OVERALL SUPER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS

Congratulations to our U14 squad again who had a double header weekend and emerged victorious in both🔥 On Saturday they faced off Saringa Spurs in the Knockout Semi-Final with a comfortable 3-0 win, Goals by Niyaz Wagenstroom with a brace and Shakeel Hyzer with a spectacular freekick and into the Finals they go🏆 On Sunday morning they had an early kick off beating a well oiled U14 Bayhill United side to become Overall Super League Champions in the Denis Goldberg Playoffs 👏

On Wednesday , our Cubs Divisional Manager, Mrs Fatiela Davids and Coach Mr Mujaahid Adams attended the registration and official draw of the 2026 edition of the 'Cubs Festival' for our Under 8 and Under 10 divisions.Our Mini's are excited as they gear up once again for a week full of football under the lights. Our U8's was drawn into 'Group C' while our Under 10's are slotted into 'Group F'

Our Top Team finished the League season in 3rd position after a very good and fantastic season, only suffering two defeats on the field.🥴 In the 2nd Round we have basically surrendered and lost 9 points in the boardroom via conditions beyond our control 😭 But we remain positive with our objective as a club with our heads held high🔥 Very proud of our boys and our spirits also remains highly alive as we still have a shot at lifting silverware if we can finish off as K/O Cup Champions,as we still need to compete in the K/O Semi - Finals🏆

Feedback from our club Chairman Mr Shane Joemath....'Look, what happened was very unfortunate, the season is not done and completed yet, but our positives from this season definitely overrides our negatives , we pick ourselves up, we learnt from this and continue to focus on our goals and ambitions as a club and task at hand'

While our Cubs are still playing, we are still preparing for upcoming tournaments as well as our U14, 2nd Team and Top Team preparations for Knockout Semi's, we request all supporters to continue to rally behind our squads .
