While bringing home 16 medals is an achievement we’re proud of, what truly sets this team apart is the discipline, respect, and quiet confidence they bring to every division.

Winning is a great byproduct, but the real victory is watching these young competitors carry themselves with absolute grace—win or lose. We stay humble, we stay focused, and we head right back to the dojo to keep refining our craft.

My name is Sensei Jeffrey Jackson, and I’ve dedicated my life to helping children become stronger—not just in karate, but in character.

As a 10-time South African Karate Champion, Commonwealth medalist, All Africa Games medalist, and the first person of colour to receive the Sportsman of South Africa karate award in 2008, I’ve had the privilege of representing my country at the highest level.

Today, my greatest passion isn’t collecting medals—it’s helping children build confidence, discipline, respect, and resilience.

Our classes are small by design, which means every child receives personal attention and coaching.

What a massive weekend for the Karate Satori family! Our athletes stepped onto the mats in Durban for the KSA Open/Elite Championships, and to say we are proud is an understatement.

Competing at this level takes incredible grit, discipline, and heart. Facing the best in the country, every single student showed true Satori spirit and left everything out there on the mats.
